Hands Free Drive Solutions
Due to an increase in road safety from 1st December 2003 it became an offence to use your mobile phone whilst driving. This offence has evolved, since 27th February 2007 the minimum penalty for breaking this law has increased to:
- £60 fine (or up to £2,500 on conviction)
- 3 points on your licence
(The only exception for this law is dialing 999 in a genuine emergency.)
Tests have shown that using a mobile phone whilst driving reduces your reaction speed by 50%. Employers can also be prosecuted if they require employees to use the phone whilst driving.
